What the HO-3 actually does
Some markets include animal liability. Some exclude it. Some exclude named breeds and mixes that look like them. A “lab mix” that the vet chart calls something else will be something else in a claim. Disclose.
Standalone canine liability
When the home market will not, a standalone dog policy can sit under an umbrella — if the umbrella will follow it. We check. Training and a latching gate are still cheaper than any form.
Rentals and HOAs
Leases that ban breeds are leases. Insurance will not override them. If they want a certificate of liability, we issue what the policy actually has.
How we write the file
Breed as listed at the vet, bite history, occupancy. Start a quote with home or liability. Pet medical is a different click.
